If there were a statistic...

...on how many people who get their car stolen, get it stolen a second time, I am now part of that statistic.

Good news though, the Captain America Shield is safely tucked away at work.

Bad news, $80 worth of new/I needed to return shoes from Zappos were in the trunk, and my second effing jawbone bluetooth was in there.

Finally, I have learned to NEVER keep ANYTHING in my car EVER, and it only took me getting me car broken into once, and stolen twice, all within two and a half months, to figure that out.

Best advice I have ever heard on dealing with this is from Adam Carolla. Get a cut off switch on your fuel line, and have it installed underneath your driver seat. Then, when you get out of your car, just flip that switch. It will cut off any more gas being pumped into the engine, and the thief won't get more than a few hundred yards in any direction before it stalls. Then in the morning the biggest inconvenience is figuring out which direction they went. Then just flip the switch, and head on your way.

I can't say I know what you're going through, but the first car I had was stolen and totalled, and the one that replaced it got broken into. It sucks to have your property and your space violated like that, but I'm glad that you at least got the car back in one piece.
